From the East

As projects at the Lodge progress, we are getting quotes for A/C maintenance and servicing from several companies. Along with that we are entertaining quotes from roofers and their options for making sure we have a sound roof over our heads, not only for the Lodge, but for all that use the building. I want to thank Junior Torres and Todd Moran for helping Memorial Lodge with a funeral service for Dixon Fender. I also want to thank Junior Torres for planning the upcoming degrees and working closely with Palma Ceia Lodge. Our 2 lodges have worked together and helped each other as if we were one big family.

This month will be the last 3rd Saturday breakfast before the Christmas party on December 12th for Camelot Foster children. Of course Lodge children and grand children are welcome too. We ask for  the following to be donated for the party and plan for 120:

six 17—20 lb turkey’s

50 lb potatoes

6 large cans chicken broth

Case of cranberry sauce

Mixed vegetables

dressing

Please bring donations to the lodge by Dec. 8th.

From the South

Hello Brothers,

As the year come to an end we are still finding more things to keep us all busy

On October 13th was a very busy meeting We got a bit accomplished.

We heard the Enter Apprentice Catechism from Brother Papy last night. Which he was found satisfactory, so please join me in congratulating him. This was a last minute decision and he did very well for being put on the spot!

His Fellow Craft Degree will be on Thursday October 22nd starting at 6:30 with dinner and the degree to follow.

We also balloted on Mr. Dale Perry’s petition and have set up his degree for October 29th.

We went over the opportunity for us to work at the football games at Raymond James Stadium. At this point I am looking forward to the November 8th game. It will be against the Green Bay Packers. I am starting to compile a list of Brothers that can work this game. So please email as soon as possible, so I can get you on the list and also get you to do the on line test. Your spouses are also allowed to work with us just make sure that we have all their information as well when you let me know. Brothers this is a great opportunity given to us and I hope that we can take full advantage of this! Email me if you are interested jtorres@shrinenet.org

Fraternally,

Junior Torres JW
