From the East

We initiated Jason Papy on Sept. 15th. Congratulations to Junior Torres, Sean Fontaine, and Steve Plotz on their Master Mason Catechism.

Their apron presentations are to be at the Sept. 29th Family night dinner.

Thanks to all who have donated to help with the ROOF, A/C and floor projects.  As of now we have enough in the building fund to pay the roofer for the repairs that have been completed so far.  Quotes for A/C servicing and repair are being gathered at this time.  Donations are going well for the floor project.

A big thanks to John Amato for keeping the grass mowed and trimmed.

We have had two petitions come in and more on the way.  It is great to see the Lodge growing and more degree’s coming soon, so keep watching for them as  we progress to the end of the year.

On October 25th we will have a fund-raising spaghetti dinner to start a roof replacement fund.  This is greatly needed, as some of our roof is rusting from the bottom and caving in creating leaks—thus the ongoing repairs.  We actually have three separate roofs and as we build the fund we can concentrate on the worst first and go from there.

District school has been moved from J.F. Swartzel to Community Lodge.

In fellowship & brotherly love,

If you have e-mail please give us your e-mail address so we can update our records. Also let us know if you want the Trestleboard via e-mail or through the mail.

Hello Brothers,

I hope that everyone is found in good health and that your families are as well.

I would like to say that Brother Fontaine, Brother Plotz, and I have all successfully given back our Master Mason catechism. I want to tell you and them that I am very  proud of them.

On Tuesday September 15th we initiated Jason Papy.  I want to congratulate him on taking his first step, and cannot wait to get started in teaching you your catechism. I want to thank the degree team for your hard work and efforts.

I have not received many email addresses so I am once again asking for Brothers to send me your email address. This will not be for solicitation or junk emails.  My email address is jtorres@shrinenet.org.

Also if you have not been to lodge in a while let us know how you are doing. We are interested!

Fraternally,

Junior Torres JW

Just a Note:  It was so good to see such a great crowd of new and familiar faces at the 3rd Saturday Breakfast.  Our attendance has been growing and everyone seems to enjoy the food and fellowship.  Thanks to our great cooks, kitchen and clean-up  crew for their dedication and support of  the cause.  Come join us, you’ll be glad you did!!!

From the Chaplain

I am happy to report there have been no deaths or serious illness to report or at least none of which I have heard.

Please let me know if you know of anyone that has been ill, needs cards, phone calls or visits from the chaplain.  I can’t fulfill my responsibilities as Chaplain if I don’t get the information.

Fraternally,
